Errors occurring when starting Outlook. Message Pops up with wrong SSL Certificate. No access to Public Folders. CTRL+Right Click Outlook icon in Notification Area (Down near the clock) and choose Test E-Mail AutoConfiguration. Enter your Email Address and Choose Test.

Check the XML Page to see the results from AutoDiscover. At the bottom Shows…

</PublicFolderInformation>
If this SMTP address is wrong, then it needs to be changed.
Log onto Exchange 2013 Server and Open Exchange Management Shell

1. Once the public folder mailbox is created it would have the following e-mail address
[PS] C:\Windows\system32>Get-Mailbox -PublicFolder “your public folder mailbox” |fl name ,*smtp*
Name : you Public Folder Mailbox
ForwardingSmtpAddress :
PrimarySmtpAddress : yourPublicFolderMailbox@mydomain.local
2.We would need to change the E-mail address for the Public Folder mailbox so that it matches the SMTP domain for the user mailbox
[PS] C:\Windows\system32>set-Mailbox -PublicFolder “your public folder mailbox” -PrimarySmtpAddress “yourpublicfoldermailbox@yourdomain.com” -EmailAddressPolicyEnabled $false
3.If also required run the following command to point to the users to their respective Public Folder Mailbox
[PS] C:\Windows\system32>set-mailbox theusersaccount -DefaultPublicFolderMailbox “your public folder mailbox”
